Network Activation Tracker

Plan reference:

Goal: 20 named contacts, individually reached, by end of week 3. The ask is not “send me clients” — it’s “I’m running a free session for parents about what Canadian universities expect. Do you know a room where that would be useful?” Asking for a venue is an easy yes and produces referrals on its own.

How to use this

One row per person. Fill in as you go. Don’t batch-send anything — each contact gets a message that sounds like you, referencing how you actually know them.

Message template (adapt per person, don’t copy-paste verbatim)

Hi [name] — hope you’ve been well since [how you know them / last contact]. I’ve started doing some independent work helping students and families navigate Canadian university life — the stuff nobody tells you until you’ve already made the mistake. I’m putting together a free talk for parents on what to actually expect in first year. Is there a room at [org] where something like that would land well — or someone else I should ask?

Warning

If 20 contacts produce zero venue conversations, the network is colder than assumed — shift to direct outreach to settlement agencies and library programming staff, who book community sessions as part of their job.
